We can help with as much or as little of the moving process that needs to be done from putting a property on the market, finding a new home, sorting personal possessions, shredding and change of address admin to packing and unpacking – and everything in between! They will be in safe hands with us. We will keep you updated along the way and include you in key decisions that need to be made so that your anxiety levels at not being able to help are eliminated.
We help people of any age move to a new house. There is no minimum or maximum age, although we often find that our services particularly benefit the elderly and those looking for senior living options.
Yes, we can help you put your property on the market. We can arrange Estate Agent valuations to help you decide who to sell your home with. We will also sit down with you and discuss what your requirements are, then search for places for you to visit. This could be if you are relocating, downsizing, moving into a rented property or into a care home or sheltered accommodation. And don’t worry, if your requirements change along the way, we are flexible and can adapt the search at any time.
Call us any time – of course the longer you have to plan, the better, but we will calm your nerves and take the burden for you with our careful planning and organisation.
Yes. We can help you go through your sentimental items including possessions and photographs, take things to charity or auction for you, help you work out what will fit into your new home and dispose of anything that won’t. We can also contact the utilities and other businesses to tell them of your change of address.
Yes, we often have clients who do not have any friends or family to help them (or their families are too far away or too busy to help with everything that needs to be done). We are happy to help them from start to finish during the move; even finding them a solicitor, financial advisor, taking them to viewings and buying things they need on their behalf. We can do everything.
Yes, we offer an ad hoc decluttering and sorting service where we can help you organise a room or an entire house or flat. We can arrange clearance of unwanted items and secure shredding of confidential paperwork such as bank statements if they are no longer needed.
